Understanding: a little can be dangerous. In our everyday lives (doctors, mechanics, craftsmen, etc.) we want people of understanding and know that it involves knowledge and comprehension. Terry takes us to the book of Job and begins a discussion of understanding. Firstly, we don’t know everything about God and, secondly, we aren’t always desirous to fully understand.
